Vision and the 2026 BAFTA's

Both editor Clare Maleeny, coming soon the Vision's Emerging Artist Roster and Vision's Cinematographer Anna Macdonald have work nominated for a BAFTA this year.

'Welcome Home Freckles', edited by Clare is nominated for Best Short Film. The film was directed and produced by Huiju Park.

The film follows a daughter returning home after four years away to confront the unresolved family conflicts and deep-rooted domestic violence that plagued her childhood. She discovers the generational cycle of abuse and realises that only she can break it.

'This Is Endometriosis' shot by Anna has also been nominated for Best Short Film.

The short by Georgie Wileman and Matt Houghton is an intimate, expressive film about how endometriosis has robbed Georgie Wileman of time. Told in the first-person and blending present-day narrative with memories from the past, the film is uniquely personal with unprecedented access. It was produced by Harriette Wright and Lauren Frankfort Meltzer.
