Focus
Irys (they/them) has been a focus puller since 2014, working as a 2nd, trainee and spark before that. They are just as comfortable leading a multi camera features team or a small commercials team. Irys has a penchant for Steadicam, often taking care of steadi-assist responsibilities for operators.
Outside of the set environment, they take the time to reach and learn about new equipment and novel techniques. This translates into helping the DOP during prep to craft a camera package that enables the visual style required for the narrative.
