Willem Robinson-Hill
Trainee
Willem is a Camera Trainee working across features, high-end television, commercials, music videos and short films. After working across multiple departments in film and TV to break into camera, he has developed a strong understanding of set dynamics, production workflows and the importance of being a positive presence on set. Calm, adaptable and proactive, he integrates quickly into any crew and loves the hard graft, pace and responsibility of set life.
A graduate in Biomedical Genetics and former data scientist, Willem completed the NFTS Camera Trainee Course in 2025 and trained at MCX Films rental house. Alongside digital production, he has a strong interest in analogue filmmaking, particularly 16mm and 35mm, and is keen to build further hands-on loading experience. He also shoots his own projects to continually develop his craft.
Based in East London with additional bases in the North. When he’s not on set, he’s usually found spearfishing, hiking mountains or playing ice hockey.
