UKMVAs 2025 Nominees and VISION!

The 2025 UK Music Video Awards nominees have been announced, and Vision's Spike Morris, Frances de Havas, Sarah Asmail and Zahra Asmail have work nominated in four categories.

Spike Morris is DOP for the comically horrific 'Bog Body' directed by Eoin Glaister for Viagra Boys, produced by Stink and nominated for Best International Rock Video. The film follows the eponymous Bog Body - a 'pickled swamp woman' that has become the object of desire and obsession. Watch the full film here, and check out more of Spike's work here

Frances de Havas is the Cast HMUA for Kojey Radicals ‘Don’t Look Down’ directed by Relta and produced by The Corner Shop, nominated for Best Special Visual Project. The short film celebrates the release of his album ‘Don’t Look Down’ and  combines three music videos into one: “Rule One featuring Bawo”, “Conversation” and “Baby Boy featuring Ghetts”. Zahra Asmail is Costume Designer and Stylist for Elton John's 'Step into Christmas' directed by Dan Thomas French and produced by Stink, nominated for Best UK Pop Video. The film revisits Elton John's holiday classic more than 50 years after its release, with Cara Delevigne embodying the singer in 1973 amongst a flurry of Production Designers struggling to create a Christmas essence. Finally, Sarah Asmail is Production Designer for Little Simz' "Young" directed by Dave Meyers and produced by Freenjoy, which is nominated for Best UK Hip Hop / Grime / Rap Music Video. The film follows an incredibly realistically old version of Simz, as she dances from her funky flat to a party full of punks in a pub. Watch the full film here, and look at more of Sarah's work here.
