Lia Chiarin joins th Vision Emerging Artist and Narrative Roster
Introducing production designer LIA CHIARIN to our EMERGING ARTIST and NARRATIVE Roster!
Lia is a production designer working in film, TV, and commercials and a graduate of the NFTS with an MA in Production Design. Her credits include the Yugo Bafta winning stop-motion short ‘Dragfox’ and the psychological thriller ‘See It, Say It’, both nominated for Best Short Film at LFF 2024 and the latter nominated for Best Short Film at sxsw 2024. Lia’s collaboration with Joel Alfonso Vargas on ‘Que Te Vaya Bonito Rico’ won the Pardi di Domani Best Director Award at the 2024 Locarno Film Festival. She also designed Vargas’ debut feature, ‘Mad Bills to Pay’, which had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival - winning the NEXT Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble Cast - followed by an International premiere at the 2025 Berlinale Film Festival, a New York premiere at the MoMA New Directors/New Films @themuseumofmodernart Festival in April 2025, and official selection at the London Film Festival 2025.
