Director of photography Lorena Pagès joins Vision!
Spanish born Lorena was first inspired by films such as "Elephant" by Gus Van Sant and "The 400 Blows" by Truffaut. From there her interest in framing, lighting and especially cinematic language grew. Pagès started shooting small music videos and short films on a DSLR camera, filming, lighting and editing; until making the decision to focus solely on Cinematography. She moved to London where she worked as a camera assistant on high-end TV dramas and feature films such as "Taboo", "Trust", "The Kid Who Would Be King". Gaining her first big opportunity via Tobias Schliessler ASC who asked her to operate camera and shoot splinter units on the feature film "The Good Liar" (Warner Brothers).
Lorena has worked on commercials for Hermès, Miu Miu and Google as well as music videos for Måneskin and Harry Styles to name a few. She has worked on the award winning short “Tótem Loba", directed by Verónica Echegui and most recently shot second unit on the Film "Greatest Days" a musical, directed by Coky Giedroyc. We look forward to seeing what is next for Lorena.
